Returns & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Galgorm Melts. As a small, independent business, we take great pride in the quality of our handmade products.

1. Right to Cancel & Change of Mind (UK Statutory Rights) In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order and request a return for any reason within 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:

  • Your item must be completely unused, unlit, and in the same condition that you received it.

  • It must be in its original, undamaged packaging.

  • You must provide a valid order number, receipt, or proof of purchase.

  • You must notify us at galgormmelts@gmail.com to request a return before sending your items back. Unsolicited returns will not be accepted.

2. Snap Bars & Transit Condition Please note that wax snap bars are designed to be broken into smaller pieces for use. Due to the brittle nature of wax, bars may occasionally snap or break during transit. Broken snap bars are not classified as faulty or damaged goods, as a break does not detract from the quality, performance, or intended use of the product. Consequently, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for snap bars that break during delivery.

3. Damaged or Faulty Goods (Excluding Transit Snaps) If an item arrives genuinely faulty or incorrect (unrelated to transit snaps), please contact us within 14 days of delivery at galgormmelts@gmail.com with your order number and photographic evidence. If deemed faulty, we will arrange a replacement or full refund.

4. Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items We cannot accept returns or offer refunds on:

  • Workshops & Event Tickets: In accordance with Regulation 28 of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, bookings for workshops and events scheduled for a specific date are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, you are very welcome to gift or transfer your ticket to someone else to attend in your place. Please email us at galgormmelts@gmail.com ahead of time to let us know the name of the new attendee.

  • Sale Items & Gift Cards: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or offer cash refunds on sale/clearance items or digital gift cards.

  • Custom-made or personalised items.

  • Items returned more than 14 days after you notified us of your intent to cancel.

  • Any item not in its original condition, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

5. Return Shipping Costs For all change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for paying your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs from your original order are non-refundable.

If you are returning items with a total value of over £20, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee or take responsibility for returns that are lost in transit back to us.

6. Refunds Process Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the condition of the items.

If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original method of payment within 14 days of us receiving the goods back.

7. Late or Missing Refunds If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account or credit card statement again.

  2. Contact your bank or credit card company, as processing times can take several business days before a refund officially posts.
