What is Soy Wax?Soy wax is 100% natural and derived from Soy beans that grow easily in many regions. This is in contrast to traditional paraffin wax which is made from petroleum, coal or oil shale. Soy bean plants come from the ground and therefore, this is a much more renewable and sustainable source for wax melt or candle making. This is one of the many reasons why we love using 100% soy wax in our Galgorm Melts soy wax melts.

How do I use Soy Wax Melts?Remove all packaging before use. When you are using a tealight soy wax warmer, chose your desired Galgorm Melts soy wax melt and place 1-2 pieces into the well on the top of your warmer. Allow one 3-4 hour smaller tealight candle to gently melt the wax melt and watch as the wax begins to soften. You will have a beautiful scent filling your room and an ambient light to relax and unwind. It is imperative that safety is your priority when using any wax melt warmer, wax melt or tealight as failure to do so could result in a fire hazard. It is recommended: Use your wax melt warmer with only good quality wax melts. Never leave a burning candle unattended or move it when lit. Remove all packaging before use. Please consider the size and depth of the wax melt bowl when adding wax, to ensure it will not overrun the edges when melted or if there is too little which will cause cracks and overheating of your warmer. Only use with a good quality 3-4 hour tealight. Do not use a maxi tealight, votive or a candle to warm your wax melt. Keep the tealight, wax melt and wax melt warmer out of the reach of children and pets preferably out of sight and in a sealed container. Do not burn a wax melt warmer on or near anything that can catch fire for example, curtains, bedding or toys. Keep away from draughts and windows. Ensure the wax melt warmer is well ventilated in a large open space. There must be at least 6.5cm of space above the flame to the underside of the wax melt warmer. The wax melt warmer will become very hot during use, do not touch or move it whilst alight or whilst the wax remains molten. Always place on a heat resistant surface. Extinguish the tealight if the flame becomes enlarged, makes contact with the underside of the wax melt warmer or begins to smoke. Once extinguished allow the wax melt warmer to cool completely before moving. WARNING Do not consume!!!!! WAX MELTS ARE NOT FOOD. Galgorm Melts will always provide a list of the ingredients under each Soy Wax Product information and on the back of your soy wax melt product. Check out 'Ingredients and Allergen Information'.

How long do Soy Wax Melts last for?As a general rule, soy wax melts should be changed whenever you no longer smell them. How long is this? If you're using just one piece of a Galgorm Melts soy wax melts snap bar at a time, that is generally 8 to 12 total burning hours (2-3 sessions). You will get up to 20 plus hours of scent from a Galgorm Soy Wax Melts snap bar. Never under or over fill your wax melt warmer pool, and only ever use the smaller 3-4 hour tea lights to warm your wax. Only use a wax warmer for 3 -4 hours at a time and allow it to cool.
