CLP AND UFI COMPLIANCE
 
At Galgorm Melts Soy Wax Melts, we label our products with both CLP and where required, UFI.

CLP (Classification, Labelling, and Packaging): CLP identifies and provides warnings and potential allergens in accordance with the Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulations 2009. These regulations have been assessed and verified by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council's Environmental Health Department.
 

Unique Formula Identifier (UFI): A 16-digit code.

Accidental exposure to chemicals can occur, for example, due to misuse or accidents. In such cases, immediate access to information about the product's chemical composition is crucial.

Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 requires businesses to provide a dossier of information on hazardous products to Poison Centres. This allows emergency responders to obtain accurate details about a product's composition.

The 16-digit UFI number found on the back of Galgorm Melts products provides all necessary information. If a UFI is not present, it means that Galgorm Melts does not require one.

At Galgorm Melts we only source fragrance/essential oil blends from suppliers who provide Safety Data Sheets and who comply with CLP and UFI Regulations.
